Pool Pass Application Instructions

Homeowner Information:
- Enter your house number and street address of your Whittier unit.
- Enter the name of the owner of this unit.
- Enter the address of the owner of this unit if the owner lives elsewhere, otherwise enter "same".
- Enter the unit owner's home and work phone numbers.
Tenant Information:
- If the Whittier unit is rented, please complete this section.
- Enter the tenant's name, home and work phone numbers.
- The owner must complete the “Tenant Information Sheet” on the reverse side of the pool application.
Residents at this Address:
- Proof of residency MUST be provided with this application for any person, 18 years or older, whose last name does not appear on the homeowner's list. This is NOT kept on file and must be provided EVERY year! Vanguard can accept a copy of driver's licenses, a copy of a bill or bank statement, or marriage certificate for spouse. For any live-in babysitter who cannot provide proof of residency, please submit a copy of your current contract as proof of residency. Please be aware that the Board of Directors reserves the right to require proof of residency for ANY person on an application at their discretion.

Maintenance Violations:
- All homeowners with outstanding maintenance violations receive notice by mail.
- If your home had a maintenace violation after a recent inspection, please follow this new procedure to obtain your pool passes for the season:
- Com plete all maintenance work on your home before mailing your pool application.
- Once work is complete, mail your pool application to Vanguard Management. By mailing the pool application, you certify that ALL work is complete.
*NOTE: Do not send in your pool application until all work is COMPLETE!* - Vanguard Management will reinspect your home only when the pool application is received.
- Your pool passes will be mailed if your violation is cleared. If your violation does not clear, you will receive written notification by US Mail.
Costs:
- If you lose or damage your pass, there will be a $5 charge to replace each pool pass.
- Ten Punch Pass - Good for ten guest visits. For each guest that visits with an authorized member, one block will be punched out by the Guards. These passes may be purchased at the time of pool pass application for $15 each. They will also be available for purchase throughout the season at each pool by check only. Lost guest passes will not be replaced.
- A non-refundable processing fee of $6.00 is due with your application. This is a one-time fee charged annually.
- LAMINATING POOL PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE COBBLESTONE POOL ONLY FOR A COST OF $1.00 PER PASS. PLEASE MAKE YOUR CHECK PAYABLE TO “WHITTIER COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION” FOR PAYMENT OF ANY POOL RELATED SERVICES.
- CASH WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE, NOR ACCEPTED AT ANY OF THE POOLS.
Signature Block:
- The Whittier unit owner (and tenant if applicable) will need to sign the application agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations posted at the pool and certifying that the information provided on the application is accurate.
