Household Hazardous Wastes

Residents are strongly encouraged to dispose of their household hazardous waste in an environmentally sound manner. The Department of Solid Waste Management sponsors two Household Hazardous Waste Days a year. One event is held in the spring and the second is held in the fall.

There is no charge to participate in these events! The only requirements are you must be a resident of Frederick County and all items must be generated by a residence.
